Magical Fairy Houses
Every creature needs a world to call home. Come build one.
Over two magical evenings, artists will bring a tiny world to life from start to finish. On day one, we'll hand sew our own little animals, giving each creature its own personality and charm. On day two, we'll build a home for our new friends; a handcrafted fairy house made from natural and magical materials like shells, rocks, sequins, and treasures of all sorts.
No two will look alike. That's the whole idea. By the final evening, every child leaves with a finished piece of art they'll want to display forever.
Magical Fall Fairy Centerpieces
Create a one-of-a-kind piece of art to bring your Thanksgiving table to life.
In this magical driftwood workshop, young artists will wet felt a cluster of cozy little acorns and paint mushrooms and fairies. Then they'll bring it all together on a piece of natural driftwood to build a mystical wonderland, using natural and whimsical materials like moss, tiny gems, and other magical touches.
Each child will craft a completely one-of-a-kind centerpiece, perfect for the Thanksgiving table or as a cherished keepsake.
Come discover the joy of knitting! In this three week class, you'll build your skills week by week, learning to cast on, knit, and cast off, until you've created a beautiful little piece all on your own, one stitch at a time.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to try. You're never too young to learn this amazing skill, and once you have it, it's yours for life. Whether you're making something for yourself or someone you love, there's real magic in creating something beautiful with your own two hands with high quality materials.
The Joy of Knitting
Mommy & Me Knitting & Tea Party
(Doesn't have to be Mommy, any adult is welcome!)
Step into a cozy, unhurried afternoon together. Sip a warm cup of tea as you and your little one learn to knit side by side, building your skills week after week, from casting on to your very first finished piece.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to try. This isn't just a knitting class, it's a quiet, beautiful ritual of connection, creativity, and quality time, and a skill you'll both carry for life. Whether you're making something for yourself or someone you love, there's real magic in creating something with your own two hands.
Explosion Books
A book that explodes. Art that surprises. Three days you won't forget.
Over three evenings, artists ages 7 to 14 will create one of the most unique art objects they have ever made — a handcrafted explosion book that unfolds into a stunning series of square and triangular pages, each one bursting with color and texture.
Paper Collage
Paper Collage is one of those classes that students just love and once you try it, you'll understand why! Using art paste, torn and cut papers, and a collection of hand-painted and beautiful handmade papers sourced from around the world, students create stunning two-dimensional artwork rich with texture and depth.
You'd be amazed at what students as young as 7 come up with! It's a wonderful reminder that creativity has no age limit.
Paper Mache Masks
Masks have been worn for centuries to tell stories, transform identities, and bring imagination to life, and now it's your turn. In this two day workshop, you'll start with a mask armature and sculpt it into a creature entirely your own: a mythical beast, a wild animal, or something dreamed up from your imagination alone.
Great for kids who love animals, mythical creatures, and dreaming up something no one else has ever made before.
Fun Felted Pouches
Come experience the joy of wet felting your own personalized bag! Using merino wool fibers, a little soap, water, agitation, and time, we'll transform fluffy wool into a sturdy little pouch, perfect for carrying your treasures.
Whether it's for your next treasure hunting adventure or just everyday wear, these stylish, personalized bags are made to be shown off.
Be ready to get your hands wet and work hard. This is a hands on activity that takes imagination and a can do attitude.
Weave Your Own Treasure Bag
Over three Monday evenings, artists ages 7 to 14 will learn real fiber arts skills while creating something they will actually use and keep forever — a handwoven treasure bag complete with a sewn lining, a finger crocheted strap, and a button closure that is entirely their own.
Students will learn the fundamentals of hand weaving to create the body of their bag, practice basic hand sewing to add a fabric lining, and learn finger crochet to craft their own unique strap. By the final evening every student walks out with a finished, functional handmade treasure bag they built completely from scratch.
Oil Pastel Workshop
Bold. Colorful. A little bit unexpected.
Oil pastels are unlike anything else. Rich and vibrant with a smooth, buttery feel, they are not powdery like soft pastels and not quite like paint. They are something wonderfully in between, and once you try them you will never forget them.
Over three evenings, artists ages 7 to 14 will begin by exploring color theory and learning how to blend and layer oil pastels to create depth, texture, and dimension. From there each student will choose their own subject to work from, whether that is a photo they bring from home or one we find together in class.

Kids Art Camps/Series
Fall Nature Explorers Camp
This camp gives kid’s full days of art, forest therapy experiences, and outdoor adventure along the coastal trail, all with a Halloween twist.
Each day blends hands-on art making with time outside, so kids can create, explore, and play in the beautiful place we call home. Your explorer will create Halloween-inspired artwork, slow down and tune in to the forest through forest therapy experiences, and head out on outdoor adventures along the coastal trail. We will also go backstage at Denali Dreams soap company for a behind-the-scenes look at how soap is made.
It is a fun, memorable way to spend the days leading up to Halloween, and a wonderful chance for kids to make new friends and get creative in nature.
Fall Art Explorers: A 4 Week Drop-Off Art Series
Give your artist a cozy, creative afternoon, and give yourself two hours!
Mixed Media Fall Nature Prints
Your child will begin by creating vibrant oil pastel patterned papers, exploring warm and cool color schemes through fun, hands-on mark making techniques, then tearing and collaging them into one-of-a-kind backgrounds. Next, they'll design their own nature inspired printing plates from Styrofoam. Finally, they'll roll on colorful ink and print again and again, watching their collaged papers transform into a layered, one-of-a-kind piece of art they'll be proud to take home.
Fall Sculpture: Wet Felting/Needle Felting
Using rich autumn colors, kids learn the magic of wet felting to create a cozy seasonal centerpiece for their home, then sculpt their own small 3D creature or figure out of wool using needle felting, a fun, focused project that builds patience and fine motor skills. It all comes together into one final sculpture.
Star Bookmaking
Every child builds their own handmade star book from scratch. A keepsake project they'll be proud to take home and fill with their own stories and drawings. These layered books are sure to bring your child's creative stores to life.
Halloween Mask Making
Just in time for the season, kids design and decorate and build their own wearable mask using lots of treasured materials like feathers, paint, glitter, collage, and more. A spooky, silly, imaginative project they'll want to wear all October long.
