Over three Monday evenings, artists ages 7 to 14 will learn real fiber arts skills while creating something they will actually use and keep forever — a handwoven treasure bag complete with a sewn lining, a finger crocheted strap, and a button closure that is entirely their own.
Each session builds on the last. Students will learn the fundamentals of hand weaving to create the body of their bag, practice basic hand sewing to add a fabric lining, and learn finger crochet to craft their own unique strap. By the final evening every student walks out with a finished, functional handmade treasure bag they built completely from scratch.
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
